After the completion of your intake forms, your Registered Massage Therapist will ask you questions to better understand your reason for seeking care. An assessment will be performed to determine an appropriate plan of action. Together, you will decide on a customized treatment strategy that considers your unique preferences, goals, and expectations, while ensuring that the care provided is safe for you.
Registered Massage Therapists are equipped with the knowledge and skills to treat:
- Acute and chronic (sports/occupational) injuries
- Pregnancy-related pain
- Conditions associated with pain (cancer, MS, post-stroke)
- Chronic pain conditions (fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis)
Swedish Massage. This is a general approach to massage therapy where relaxation is promoted. It is used to reduce muscular tension caused by the tasks of everyday life.
Deep Tissue Massage. This massage technique is used to reach the deepest layers of muscle and connective tissue using strong, but comfortable pressure. Typically used for musculoskeletal injuries and pain.

Expectant mothers benefit from the relaxation of a massage, but also the decrease in muscular tension and enhanced lymphatic drainage, especially when the extremities are swollen. Our treatment rooms are equipped with pregnancy tables, allowing pregnant clients to lie comfortably during their treatment.
